General Electric sold its appliance business to Qingdao Haier for $5.4 billion last year. Analysts said the deal would expand Chinese firm’s footprint in the U.S.
As we all known, Haier is the best-known brand of household electric appliances in China, Haier has sought to expand into north America markets. In the newspaper of Haier home town, Media loved to say that GE appliances belongs to Haier.
Haier plans to sell stoves as first product of GE brand in China, bring western life experience to the local people.
